There are four mean types of stem cells which are Totipotent, Pluripotent, Multipotent, and Unipotent. All of them have different functions in human body.
The first type of stem cells named Totipotent which is formed during sexual reproduction including spores and zygotes, and this type of stem cell can form an individual body. For example, during the early pregnancy, when zygote becomes into embryo, every cell in it is Totipotent, and those cells will develop human organs after. Scientists usually use this type of stem cells for clone.
