It is the largest hospital in the Novant system. Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center along with Novant Health Medical Park Hospital performs approximately 40,000 surgeries each year. The specific area I would like to focus my work in would be in the cardiovascular department.

This department focuses on the adult population that are affected with heart, lung, and vascular disease.
