Requirements for project # 1 and presentation format.

All assignments in 314 are strictly individual, identical work will not be accepted.
There will be penalties for late reports.
Presentations should be in PowerPoint (PPT). Overall format including visual effects, font size, margin size, coloring, graphs, charts, figures and etc. should be (professionally) reasonable.

PPT is expected to include min 35-40 slides.

Title page should include project title, student(s) name, course title and date.
Presentation contents are at the discretion of a student and shows his/her research skills and professionalism. Describe the most important parts and statements which are the most essential and represent the concept of the regulations you assigned.

Project 2 should include purpose, definitions, requirements, all messages sent to users you found MOST IMPORTANT when working on the assigned topic by your experience / professional opinion and describe in details into your project PPT presentation.

There should be at least 5 references cited, not more than one of them can be online source. Use a combination of valid website, journals and books.

If you use other references to do that it will be a big plus.

Max possible points for project 2 = 95 pts (plan= 10 pts + PPT=75 pts + posting PPT on blackboard= 10 pts)

Important note:

Because Comprehensive review and COMMENTS on all the project # 1 PPTs posted on Discussion Board is very important part of 314 course study. It will be announced as a separate Project 3 and considered as Essay. It is intended for each student to study many important aspects of General OSHA and EPA requirements for occupational safety and environmental controls from different angles and demonstrate results of this study. Reviewing the PPTs the students will learn about the most important parts of a project and they supposed to demonstrate that in their Comments (essays).

Because of importance of the Comments/essay the substantial points given for project 3 and impact the final grade.
