The assignment will require the application of most, or all, of the following: environmental analysis, types of change, management style and type of organisation, change strategies, involving stakeholders, organisational culture, leadership, models for change, and a change plan.

Write a report on Managing Organisational Change in Your Organisation. The report should have three main sections:
1. The Need for Change
This section should explore:
 _Specific trends in the organisation’s internal and external environment – what is driving the need for change?

 _What type of change will these drivers necessitate?

(1.1, 1.2, 1.3)
 _What actual changes will be needed? (3.2)
 _What are the likely outcomes if it does not respond to the need for change? (2.3)

2. The Process of Change
This section should analyse the organisation’s specific stakeholders and their likely attitudes to the changes that are needed.
It should explore and evaluate how stakeholder models and tools could be used in a practical way to bring about change in the organisation. This includes making clear how resistance to change can be minimised and how specific barriers and how obstacles can be overcome by adopting clear negotiation strategies with specific stakeholders. (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4)
3. Planning for Change
This section should draw conclusions based on the previous two sections.
 _Summarise the change that is needed and the main obstacles that are faced. (3.4, 4.1)

 _Propose a plan to achieve the change with instructions for implementation. This should pick out the most useful theory from Section 2 and include details of how specific stakeholders will be involved in the change and resistance overcome. Include a section on how you would monitor the progress of your plan and evaluate its success. (4.2, 4.3)

Assessment
To achieve a Pass grade the assignment must use recognised change management tools to analyse the drivers of change, and plan a response in the form of a management plan that is clearly presented as action points – including stakeholder negotiating strategies and evaluation measures
