While ideas may occasionally fail to make sense together, the reader should be fairly clear about what writer intends.
Have few mechanical errors (including both grammar errors and typos). Occasional errors are acceptable, but they should not represent a major distraction or obscure meaning. Sentences should be basically well constructed.
